Carmen Maria Muianga was born in Maputo in 1974.
She completed a Graphics course at the Visual Arts School in Maputo and did a médium level course at the National Plastic Arts School in Havana.
She was a teacher at the Lopes Penha Visual Arts School in Cuba and the Eugénio Lemos School – Gallery in Maputo.
Carmen Muianga is a member of the Association Núcleo de Arte in Maputo.
Carmen had a solo exhibition in Maputo and participated in collective exhibitions in Mozambique, Japan, Namíbia and Lisbon.
Her work is represented in private national and foreign collections.
