Alexandria (Alex Simões Ferreira) was born in 1978. He began his artwork in 1990, using the media of wood, soapstone and metal under the tutelage of his father, the sculptor Simões.
For a number of years he presented his artwork at the weekly art fair of Maputo. Later he participated in collective and solo exhibitions and on the occasion of conferences on art and other cultural events.
He is a member of the Núcleo de Arte in Maputo and of LATTICE (association linking teachers in different educational areas) in the USA. His work is represented in various public and private collections in Mozambique and abroad.
Anésia Zefenias Filipe Manjate was born in Maputo in 1976.In 1997 she completed a medium level course in ceramics at the National School for Visual Arts. In 2005 she did an internship at “ARCO”, School of Contemporary Art – Lisbon.
She participated in various workshops, like: “ Identidades: Mozambique/ Portugal (1997); “Ponte Móvel: Mozambique - Finland” (1998); “Jovens Criadores” – CPLP (1998 and 2001).

Sara Manuel Aboobacar, artistic name By, was born in Maputo.
Between 1994 and 1997 she learned painting with Master Noel Langa and was a frequent visitor of his workshop/gallery Arco Iris.
In 2007 she held her first solo exhibition “ Despertar de um sonho” .
She participated in a number of collective exhibitions in Mozambique.
Between 1998 and 2006 she worked at Meldarte – Art Centre for kids.
Currently she is teaching and the vice director of Nyoxani - Centro de Desenvolvimento Pessoal.
